What to Bring
The Teacher ~ John Paul TamblynJohn has dedicated his years as a teacher to helping people find an understanding of the yoga practice that will best serve them in their personal development, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. His classes are often rooted primarily in the practice of asana (physical yoga practice) but are infused with meditation, pranayama, and the philosophy of yoga. Many of his students come to class seeking initially the physical benefits of yoga and find not only their strength and flexibility, but also compassion, confidence, connection, contentment and, perhaps the most valuable gift of yoga - peace. John is one of the owners and primary teachers of the Octopus Garden Yoga Centre in Toronto, Canada. The Food ~ Shani CranstonYou will be nourished with Prana-infused organic meals prepared by Shani Cranston of Milagro Retreats with love and consciousness. Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included in your package. Most meals will be vegetarian, with fresh fish and seafood served occasionally throughout the week. Raw Concepts and Living Food will be incorporated into the menu to encourage healthy eating habits. The kitchen is an open concept and you are welcome to join Shani and learn with ‘hands on’ preparation. She will be creating divine dishes such as Avocado Gazpacho, Raw Almond Mylk and Living Choconut Pie. |
